Follow the steps to identify woody trees, shrubs and vines from Wildwood Park
Step 1. Are the leaves scale-like or needle-like or are they broad?
Scale-like leaves are very small and pressed against the twig.
Needle-like leaves are long and thin, like pine needles.
Broad leaves are flat and relatively long and wide.
