Small plant, about a foot tall. Leaves narrow, grass-like. Flowers with 5 long, deep pink, white-spotted petals, toothed at the tip. Blooms in summer.
Alien weed of fields and roadsides. In Wildwood occasional to common in the South Meadow.
The hot pink blooms with white spots are easily recognized. |
