Oxeye Daisy,  Leucanthemum vulgare

(called Chrysanthemum leucanthemum in some field guides)
Asteraceae or Sunflower Family

Erect plant, 1-3 feet tall, usually with a single flower head consisting of many yellow disc flowers and 15-30 white ray flowers.  Leaves narrow, irregularly toothed and lobed.

An alien weed from Europe, prefers waste places, fields and roadsides.  Fairly common in Wildwood along Wildwood Drive and the bikeway.

Easily recognized as the common she-loves-me-she-loves-me-not wildflower.  It could be mistaken for one of the daisy fleabanes (Erigeron sp.) but these all have many more rays that are obviously narrower.
